My First Home Haul

Recently I moved into a new apartment and have been decorating and making it my own for the last couple of months and thought it would be a nice idea to do a blog post about a few of the homeware bits that I've purchased.
I'll link all the bits that I can on the blog post if you're interested in purchasing anything for yourself.
I'd also like to add that my apartment is nowhere near finished in my eyes, I still have a lot in mind that I'd like to do and I am planning a 'Apartment Tour' post when it is finally finished.

First up is my bed which admittedly looks very small in this picture. Both brown cushions and the square duck egg cushion I got from George at Asda and were £4 each but I do believe there is currently an offer on for 3 for £10 on these particular cushions.
The throw is also from Asda and was £5 which I think is a real bargain because the quality and touch is really good.
Next, the fluffy duck egg pillow I got from Primark for £4, again, it's really affordable and good quality.
Lastly, the fairy lights above my bed are also from Primark,  and at £2.50 they look so pretty and have made my room feel that little bit cosier!

Next is a few products that I bought for my bedside table. The Lamp I also got from George at Asda for £10 and I love this lamp because the lamp shade goes perfectly with my theme but also, it has a brass stand which I absolutely love!
The Candle is from TK Maxx. If you love the smell of mens aftershave you'll love the smell of this candle. It's such a woody scent but it has a sweet, citrus side to it with a bit of a spice scent in there too and it's very strong, double-wicked and looks great.

So my room isn't very big at all and I needed to find a full-length mirror that wouldn't take up too much room and also wouldn't need screwing into the wall. Luckily for me, I found this one in B&M Bargains which cost me just £10, looks perfect and hangs on the back of the door without the need for any screws or taking up any room at all.

This is a lovely little vase with artificial flowers in that I purchased from Next at only £8. I originally bought them for my living room but since deciding on the colour scheme of my bedroom, I've decided that they'll fit in much more nicely in there.

Last but not least for the bedroom is this lovely teal blue light shade that I got from B&Q. I wasn't aware that B&Q  did homeware until the other day when I went in for a light bulb and came out with more than that! This is a lovely shade, adds some texture, matches my room perfectly and for £15 it isn't bad at all.

So onto the living room and this is what the top of my bookcase looks like. Starting from the left, I got this champagne bauble lamp from B&M Bargains for around £6. It looks really lovely in my living room and adds the elegant look that I was aiming for in there.
Next to that is this lovely Mantle Piece Clock that I got from Laura Ashley and I did splash out a little on this, it costs £50, but honestly it looks so lovely in my front room and the quality is great.
The photo frame next to that is also from Laura Ashley. This Gold Frame cost about £24 (although I did get it half price in the January sales) and again it looks great and adds that extra elegant touch.
Lastly, the two candles are from primark but i got them around christmas and haven't seen them since so I don't know if they're still available but if they are. pick them up because they were just £2 each and are cedarwood scented which is an autumn scent but I cant get enough of it!

Next is my blanket basket. I got this from TK Maxx and it does come in a range of sizes and styles but I thought this one was perfect for my front room and adds a little cosy touch. I think it was £13.

Here is my lovely door stop dog that I love and cherish as I'm not allowed real pets in my apartment. I got him from Next and he cost me £12 and is called Dex as his little name badge says on his collar.
Behind Dex is three cushions, all from B&M Bargains and the prices range from £2.50 for the middle cushion as I only bought the case for that and £5 each for the fluffy brown cushions.

Also for my living room and also from Laura Ashley are these gorgeous Mirror Coasters which cost me £22 but are currently on sale for I think £15. They look really great, easy to wash and add that piece of elegance and glamour I want for my front room.
